One day, I got a text from a friend asking me if I was looking for a boat, if so what kind of a boat and what is my budget. Almost without hesitation, I said I wasn't really looking. But if the right boat comes along, I would grab it. She will be a simple boat, not too lavish. She should be around 30 feet, with a depth of 1.5 metres, preferably with a tractable keel. She should be in a sea-going condition, so I will not spend much time and resource preparing it.
